Wild Horses of America is dedicated to providing free-range homes for wild horses that have been removed from public lands. The American mustang is an important part of our national heritage and we are working to ensure that these beautiful animals have protected lands where they can live out their lives in a natural way.

More information about America's wild horses is available on our WILD HORSES page.

An important part of our mission is to acquire land where we establish wild horse preserves. In addition to giving new homes to America's wild horses, we also feel a sense of stewardship toward the lands we preserve. We feel it is essential to work with other conservation groups so that we may create preserves that benefit many species. Whether these groups are interested in birds, animals, native grasses, or archaeolical sites, we feel that each can provide essential insight and guidance to better our vision of the land.

Please visit our LINKS page for more information about these groups.

FREMONT ISLAND PROJECT

The Fremont Island Wild Horse Preserve is an important project we are currently undertaking. This project will demonstrate how preserved land can benefit animals, birds, plants and man.
